Slack: Notify your team when a contact needs help

ActiveCampaign

When do you know a contact is having an issue?

Too many times the answer to this question is only after they have reported an issue or a pain point to your support team. Your team is stuck being reactive when sometimes a small message can clear up the whole misunderstanding or get your team to work on the issue quicker.

Start being proactive with this automation recipe. Using ActiveCampaign's site tracking and powerful integration with Slack, you can get notified when a contact is visiting your help messages and let your team know so they can reach out to make sure everything's alright.

Here's how this automation works:
1. The contact triggers your automation when they visit a page specified in the trigger.
2. The automation checks if the contact is a customer or not.
3. If the contact is a customer, a Slack message is sent to your support team to assist.
4. If the contact is not a customer, a Slack message is sent to your sales team to assist.

Note: Specify your help domain by using the slug for your help center then an asterisk. For example, example.com/help/* would trigger for any pages in the help subcategory.

Note: You will need to set up the specific Slack channel you want the message to go to on the automation action itself. You will also need to personalize the message with the fields you want to appear in the message
