Mollie: Track Refund and Offer Support


Refunds happen. Maybe the timing wasn’t right, the contact couldn’t figure out the product, or it didn’t work the way the contact thought it would. By keeping track of refunds and offering support, you can help turn a negative experience into a positive one.

This automation tracks the date of the refund and sends a notification to your team when a refund event is received by Mollie.

Here’s how Mollie: Track Refund and Offer Support works:
1. The automation is triggered when a refund refunded event is received by Mollie for the contact.
2. The contact then goes to an update contact field action, having a custom date field tracking the refund date to the current time.
3. The contact arrives at a send notification step, triggering an email to be sent to your team.
4. The contact exits the automation.

Note: You will need to build a custom date field for tracking the refund date. Do so before importing this automation.

Note: Use personalization tags in your notification action to pull important information in, such as the product refunded, reason for refund, and other important information you may be capturing in a refund request form.
