Task Complete: Move Deal Stage Upon Task Completion

Sometimes you’ll have a task and stage in your sales process that, once complete, you know you’re ready to move the deal along the pipeline. One good example of this is a demo. Once this task is completed, you can move on to the consideration stage. This automation handles all of that for your sales team so they can focus on what they do best – closing deals. This is a great way to follow up on a completed task.

This automation moves deals to a specified stage when a specific task is completed. It also then assigns the next task in your process to the deal owner. Feel free to add more actions to align this even further with your unique sales process.

Here’s how Task Complete: Move Deal Stage Upon Task Completion works:
1. The automation is triggered when the segmented task type is completed.
2. The contact arrives at a move stage action, which moves them from their current stage to a specified stage in your pipeline.
3. The contact then comes to an add task action, which creates a task for the deal owner to follow up with the deal.
4. The contact exits the automation.

Note: We use a demo in our example, but feel free to segment the trigger to whatever makes sense for your sales process.
