SERP (Search Engine Results Page)

Definition

The search engine results page (SERP) is the page that displays all of the results for a user’s query. Depending on the query and the search engine, the SERP can include organic search results, paid search ads, a featured snippet, videos, news articles, and other features.

For organic search results in Google (the most used search engine), the SERP displays the page title, URL, and description. These let users preview a page’s content before they click through.
