Google Search Console

Definition

Google Search Console is a platform that helps website owners and webmasters understand the performance of their websites in Google search. Google Search Console includes features to monitor keyword ranking performance over time, number of impressions in Google searches, number of clicks resulting from Google searches, and performance of individual pages over time.

Google Search Console also includes features related to backlinks from other websites, and has a place to submit website XML sitemaps to Google, which helps the Google crawler understand the structure of a website.
