  • Have reasonable expectations. 
    The software can only perform as well as your web server allows. So a $4/mth hosting plan will not give you peak performance. Such a plan typically works fine for users with smaller lists / less email demands. If you are looking for the best performance we suggest a dedicated linux web server (with 4+ GB ram, optimized for MySQL, and a mail server that can handle the amount of emails you are looking to send...) 
    
    
  • Check for limits ahead of time. 
    If you do choose a shared web hosting plan we suggest to check for any email sending restrictions (such as a limit of emails per hours, restricting port 25, etc.. )
    
    
  • Ensure you have the resources, time, and know-how to use downloaded software.
    If you are unfamiliar with the basics such as FTP, file permissions, setting up a MySQL database, etc.. we would highly suggest to sign up for our hosted software.
