Erin McInrue Savage is the Director of Content Marketing and Strategy at ActiveCampaign, where she leads the brand's content ecosystem across AEO, SEO, thought leadership, which spans the website, webinars, newsletters, and more. One of the earliest internal advocates for Answer Engine Optimization, the practice of structuring content to earn citations from AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, she drives ActiveCampaign's LLM visibility strategy from the ground up, including its ongoing search monitoring program and The Autonomous Marketer, a content hub and newsletter designed to establish ActiveCampaign as the defining voice in autonomous marketing.
Before ActiveCampaign, Erin held content and brand leadership roles at Rippling and Human Interest, and spent six years leading research at Age Wave. She has led landmark studies on aging, longevity, and financial planning whose findings were cited in the New York Times, The Washington Post, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and PBS. Earlier in her career, she conducted research at UCSF, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and Brown University.
A research-driven strategist with more than 15 years of experience across B2B SaaS, Fintech, and Nonprofit, Erin holds a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with concentrations in Epidemiology and Gerontology, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from Queen's University. She hosts The Autonomous Marketer Live webinar series at ActiveCampaign and has been recognized for her ability to translate complex data into content that moves audiences and search rankings from the top of the funnel to close.
