ActiveCampaign's Certification to the Data Privacy Framework

ActiveCampaign complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce (collectively, the “Data Privacy Framework”).

Taking effect from July 11, 2023 in the EU and October 12, 2023 in the UK, EU and UK customers will be able to send personal data to ActiveCampaign in the U.S. without needing to use any other data transfer mechanisms (like the Standard Contractual Clauses). Further, those customers will not need to carry out transfer risk assessments because the Data Privacy Framework benefits from an adequacy decision.

This reduces the compliance burden on our customers and saves time and resources that would otherwise have been needed to implement more cumbersome transfer mechanisms or data protection safeguards.

As a result of our certification to the Data Privacy Framework, ActiveCampaign may be deemed to provide “adequate” privacy protection for such data transfers.
