A deal in a pipeline contains information pertaining to a potential sale or opportunity—it is where you develop your sales process and get your leads to take action. Each deal is assigned to a “deal owner” otherwise known as a sales representative that manages the deal within the CRM.
It’s very common for deals to be transitioned between sales reps and it’s important that when this happens, no details fall through the cracks.
