ActiveCampaign commits to significant investment in Brazil, names it the center of its Latin American operation

Plans to replicate success seen in Brazil across all of Latin America, solidifying itself as the leader in Customer Experience Automation in the region

To fulfill its mission to help businesses of all sizes grow, ActiveCampaign, the leader in Customer Experience Automation (CXA), is further investing in the development of Brazilian businesses with product innovation, even more customer support, and new hires. The company has grown organically in the region by offering much needed CXA services to Brazil’s six million small businesses, and will now make strategic investments to propel future growth in the country and into the rest of Latin America, following a $240 million Series C. 

ActiveCampaign has already found success in Brazil and Latin America at large. It is the highest rated marketing automation software in Latin America, and it scores highest in customer satisfaction among Portuguese and Spanish speakers in the marketing automation category on G2. These satisfaction scores prove that legacy email marketing, marketing automation and CRM solutions don’t meet the needs of local customers, unlike ActiveCampaign’s customer experience automation solution.

By investing further, ActiveCampaign will fulfill its Customer Success Commitment, the only commitment of its kind in the market. Through that, the company supports customers with a number of benefits they can’t find elsewhere, including a two-year price lock, easy subscription management, pause billing for up to 12 months without losing data, paying only for marketable contacts and more. To execute its plan, the company has hired mechatronic engineer Tatiana Piloto as Regional Vice President, Latin America. She has more than 18 years of international experience in the technology sector, serving in leadership positions at some of the largest companies like Salesforce and Zendesk. Piloto, who is Brazilian, will continue ActiveCampaign’s success in Brazil and carry it through to the broader Latin America region.   

One of ActiveCampaign’s first steps to demonstrate its commitment to the Brazilian market was accepting payment in local currency, the first and only CXA platform to do so. With this change, Brazilian businesses can use local payment cards and avoid exchange rate fluctuations, ensuring these customers are more successful with the platform and spend more time focusing on growing their businesses.

This investment in Brazil immediately follows a significant venture capital investment ActiveCampaign received. Earlier this month, the company announced a $240M Series C round and 145,000 customers across 170 countries. The company also shared that its ARR surpassed $165M, up from $100M less than a year ago.
