New Volunteer Thank You And Notification

ActiveCampaign

Raise your hand if there's never enough hands for the work that needs to be done.

With so many events and limited staff, this can be a recurring reality for many non-profits and finding individuals to staff events can take away time from the work they need to be doing. But I have great news, you can automate the whole experience. From volunteers expressing interest to notifying your team so next steps can be taken.

This automation sends two emails once a contact has expressed interest by submitting your volunteer interest form. One email goes directly to the contact, thanking them and letting them know what to expect. The other notifies your team of the prospective volunteer. Use Personalization tags to pull in important information about the volunteer directly into the email so your team can have it all in one place.

Here's how this automation works:
1. The automation is triggered when a contact submits your form for showing interest in volunteering.
2. The contact is sent an email thanking them for their interest.
3. The contact reaches a notification action and an email is sent to your team so they can follow up with the volunteer and give them information about the event.

Note: In our example, we use a form submission to start this process, but feel free to adjust this to however you allow volunteers to volunteer.
