Email Marketing 5.2.5 – Brief Update

We have released Email Marketing 5.2.5, which comes with only one major change (along with some minor bug fixes) – the ability to save your API connection details on the subscriber import page for external sources:

If you import from an external source, such as Salesforce, it can be extremely tiresome to re-enter the connection details each time. This should save you a lot of time, and allow you to use the import process more efficiently.

This feature works per user, meaning each user that logs-in to the admin section can have their own API connection details saved, and they will not see the connection details for other users.

We are continuing to improve the subscriber import page, as well as all aspects of our software, so please let us know if you have any questions, problems, or ideas.

This was a pretty minor update. Only changes are what is listed in the blog post.

  • This is mentioned on the feedback page also, but it would be very useful to be able to specify a particular “signup form” when importing a list of subscribers, so that a specific unsubscribe page could be associated with those addresses instead of only the default system unsub landing page.

  • Cool features! but I’m still hoping and waiting for the updates that I want. Custom page for after unsubscribed should be allowed for different list with manual import subscribers. I’m waiting :(

That can be done system wide of course (with the default form settings) but nothing exists currently to drill it down to a list or set of subscribers.

      • Yes thats what I am looking for, to have different unsub custom page for each list, now can only have that if user subscribe via form, this does not affect the manual imported subscribers.
