Campaign Auto-Post to Facebook Pages and Applications

Campaigns sent to your Facebook-connected lists can now automatically post to any account you manage under your Facebook profile, such as pages and applications:

Simply check each account you wish to send auto-updates to, and the same update will be mirrored to each “wall” on Facebook.

Previously auto-posting was limited to only your personal profile, which is not always where you want to extend your email marketing brand, so it makes sense to post to anywhere you manage a presence on Facebook.

  • Neat feature. But this doesn’t allow you to post AS one of your pages, right? You still have to log into Facebook, go to the “Use facebook as page” and switch to the page of your choice. Then click the “Social Share” link from the Campaign Report to post it on your page’s wall as the page.

PS – I don’t know if everybody’s aware of this, but from a privacy perspective, when an individual posts on a page it’s a public post. Whether that means anything to you, I don’t know, but it’s worth mentioning.
