iSalient offers several methods of deploying your surveys to your survey takers. One easy method is by email, from within iSalient. An advantage of deploying by email is that survey takers need not enter a survey code to begin the survey, and their responses are automatically associated with their email address. This article describes the process of using iSalient to send survey invitations by email.
After logging in to iSalient, go to Email->Lists.
Click the "Add New List" button to create a new email list

Fill in the form and then click the "Save Changes" button.The "Name" field should contain the name of the person or organization who is sending the survey invitations.
The "From Email Address" is the email address of the person or organization who is sending the survey invitations.
The "Email Based" field allows you to determine whether the survey invitations will be sent by email to the survey takers, using iSalient. This option should remain "Yes".

Click on the "View Emails" option of the newly created list.

Next, you will be able to view, add, search for, import, or export email addresses from the list.Click "View" to see the addresses that have been added to the list
Click "Add" to add a single email address to the list.
Click "Search" to find an address on the list.
Click "Import" to add multiple subscribers to the list.
Click "Export" to download the list of email address that have previously been added.

After adding the email address of the survey takers to the list, click on "Send Message".

Modify the contents of the email message that will be sent to survey takers, and then click "Send".
The "Survey" dropdown menu will let you select which survey the email recipients will be invited to take.
The "Subject" field allows you to set the subject of the email invitation which will be sent.
The "From Email" should be set to the email address of the person or organization which is sending the invitation.
The "Message" box contains the text that will be sent to the subscriber. The %SURVEY_LINK%, %DECLINE_LINK%, or other personalization tags you select from the "Personalize Message" drop down box will be replaced with values that are unique for the client. This means that using the "%PERS_NAME%" tag will cause the name of the survey taker to appear for each individual. Email recipients who click the survey link will be sent directly to the survey and will not need to enter a survey code to begin. Their responses will be associated with their email address.
The two check boxes above the send button allow you to send this email to only those who have not yet taken the survey, or those who have not yet received a survey invitation. These options are useful if you send an invitation, then add additional survey takers to the list but do not want to resend the invitation to those who have already received a previous invitation or taken the survey already.
