All of 1-2-All's language and character settings are stored within its central language files which make it easy for you to modify any text within the program. By editing these files you can adjust the wording of 1-2-All's options to more closely reflect the purposes you are using the software for, or you can even create a full translation into another language.
You can find these language files within the main 1-2-All installation folder, in a subdirectory called "lang". Inside of the lang folder, you'll see another folder named "english", which contains the main set of language files for the software. You'll see a few different files within that folder:
language.txt
This file contains the language and character settings. By modifying this file, you can change the way that 1-2-All handles text. For example, if you need to use European characters or right-to-left text, you will want to open up and modify this file. The directions for each setting are documented within the file; be sure to read them carefully before making changes.
admin.txt
This file contains the text that you will see when you are logged into your 1-2-All admin panel.
help.txt
This file contains the help text for the tooltips displayed throughout 1-2-All's interface.
public.txt
This file contains the program text that is displayed on the public side of your 1-2-All. This makes it easy to translate only the parts of the program that your end users will see.
other.txt
This file contains text that is displayed in both the public area and the admin area of your 1-2-All.
In many cases if you are seeing odd, funny, or bad characters in the articles on your 1-2-All, the problem can be solved by finding out the correct character encoding setting for your geographic location and modifying language.txt to reflect this setting.
