Importing and Exporting Surveys

The import and export features of iSalient will allow you to import and export surveys and their questions. This article will describe the process of first exporting a survey, and then importing the survey.

1. Exporting

After logging in to iSalient, go to Surveys->Manage.

Click "Export" next to the name of the survey which you would like to export. You will be prompted to download a file. Save this file in a location you will remember.

2. Importing

Go to Surveys->Import.

Select the question set file you downloaded in the first step. Using the dropdown next to the "import into" field, you can select whether the question set will be imported into a new survey, or into an existing survey.

The imported survey will now appear on the Surveys->Manage page within iSalient, and you can work with and edit the survey just as you would any other survey.

Please note that the responses to the surveys are not included in this feature, however survey questions can be exported to a CSV file, as the following article from our knowledge base describes: https://www.activecampaign.com/support/tt/index.php?action=kb&article=406
