Hello.

Hence from Germany - it seems that the Chat window can't identify umlauts - e.g. "ä" "ö" "ß" - used in german language quite often.

can I add these to the chat?

and one more question:
Is there a way to disable the "operator rating" after the chat?

What do you mean by the word identify, in this case?

I'm able to add those three characters to both the public and operator sides of a conversation, and they do display correctly.

You can disable the operator rating feature via the operator group settings page (from the Users / Operator Groups menu item).
