SupportTrio 2.50 Stable Released
SupportTrio 2.5 is now available. Below you will find a sampling of the numerous new features and enhancements included in SupportTrio 2.5.
Existing clients can download the new version in our support center.
- New search page.
Options include search terms, fields to search, department(s), status(s), priority(s), duration(s), last poster(s), desk(s), creation date or date range, along with whether the ticket is marked as spam, assigned, assigned to me, contains an attachment, and/or rated by client.
- Custom Statuses Now Available.
Ability to set a status to not log duration. - Ability to set a status to show up or not show up in the open tickets listing. - Ability to set a status to be a sticky.
- Smarty templates
All public and admin pages changed to smarty templates. Email templates (where they are not in the database) are also in template files now.
- Multi-Level Departments with Department Nesting
- New email confirmation personalization tags:
close ticket link, custom fields, client username, client email, last ip address, client ip address, open date, open time, duration, priority, post count, desk name, related kb articles.
- Image verification on registration page. (Requires GDLIB)

Admins can manipulate tickets via email (close, etc..) by simply providing an action tag in the subject.
- Admin can choose to show/hide related tickets box on the ticket view page.
- Mark as Spam has its own permission setting.
