Subscribing to any RSS feed with a feed reader is nice. However for those who do not like feed readers or want an easier method - subscribing by email is much easier. Subscribing by email grants you a wealth of reporting and styling options that cannot be matched by standard feed readers. Whether it is your blog, forum, or any other RSS feed - ActiveRSS will allow subscribe by email to your visitors.

You can create any number of ActiveRSS mailings that can grab new data from any number of feeds. Have 3 blogs / rss feeds? You could create multiple lists - or create multiple ActiveRSS templates - or have one ActiveRSS template combine all 3 and send updates using the single template. The control of the template and what is included is entirely up to you!

Every time ActiveRSS executes and finds updates to your feed it will create a new mailing and send your updates. You can view past mailings in the message archive where you can also view link stats, read stats, unsubscribe/bounce stats, etc..

Installation is as easy as downloading the add-on and uploading a folder to the 12All installation directory. To automate the running of this script you will need to setup a cronjob or scheduled task.
