We just released ActiveCampaign Survey Software version 2.30.2. This update removes the confusing drop-down based question type chooser and replaces it with a graphic based / friendly new question type picker.
The export page (from the Surveys > Manage page) has also been updated to allow you to either export the survey responses (to a .csv) or the survey structure (to a .xml)
