Next time you visit the download page you should notice a new type of download available. Upgrade Patches. Now you can generate your own special download that is tailored for upgrading your install.
With the new upgrade patch options you can choose what version you are upgrading from and what type of encoding (zend or ioncube) you use. After making those selections simply click download! The resulting download will only include files that were changed and need to be uploaded.
This should make the process of upgrading much easier for many of our clients. There is no need to scan a changed file list or upload the whole distribution.

Today we released visualEdit 3.0, our web-based web site editor. We are quite excited about this new version of visualEdit. A lot of work has gone into reconstructing the core of the product and making it easier to use than ever before.
One of the key features of visualEdit is the ability to edit multiple web sites. With our lite license you can edit a hundred sites! visualEdit supports editing sites via ftp/sftp connections AND editing the local server that visualEdit is installed on. This gives you complete flexibility and allows you to use visualEdit for all sorts of situations and clients.
visualEdit gives you all of the standard ftp / editing features you would expect BUT it also includes some other key items such as:
File Versioning
File Notes
Bookmarking files/folders you need to view/edit often
Ability to create client accounts where your clients can edit their own sites
We just released visualEdit Beta 2! We fixed a couple of reported bugs and added a couple of interesting items as we continue to shape this piece of software to look (and act) as a true ActiveCampaign web application.
Here is a list of changes:
Fixed a bug with IE7 missing the file content in editor
Fixed a bug in FileSystem connection type with resetting currentPath variable thus restricting to application folder only
Fixed a bug in updater with double authenticator
Re-indented a CSS file
Minor template improvements and design changes
Cleaned up Manage Connections form template, reorganized it
Removed old javascript functions
Added a text field for File Permissions (to manually enter chmod value)
Added recurring copying for folders (both connection types)
Added /admin/images/ folder for template images
Added checks for write permissions for /admin/images/ folder (FCK will do the actual creation)
