Hi Peter,

CSS is supported, and should be included in the page while editing. Versioning system saves your old (unedited) copy of the file, so reverting should work properly...

I would like to take a closer look at your issue, if you don't mind. If that is OK with you, please submit a support ticket (or send an email to support@activecampaign.com) containing your password for "admin" user as well as the URL of your visualEdit install so I can login and take a look.

Also, if available, please provide access to your server via FTP so we can check the issue that way too (in order to compare the differences).

Thank you for using visualEdit.

Hi,

I've just tried out the VisualEdit software by connecting to on of my sites to see how it works.

The site is constructed using css.

On editing the index page it stripped out all the css formating while viewing which was not so much a problem, the real problem I had was when the page was saved. The page was all over the place and going back to the original using the revision option did not put it back to the original state.

If you would like to see the page it can be found at

www.whpdemos.co.uk/demo2

I really like the concept behind the software but I need to understand whether it is compatible with CSS, since we only build this way.

Kind regards,

Peter
