We have added a new feature in the latest verison of 1-2-All that will assist you with calculating your estimated sending speed. This is especially important when your web host restricts you to send X messages an hour.
With this new feature you will get a summary of how many per hour, minute, and second based on the sending settings you enter. The calculator will update as you change your settings allowing you to easily tweak your estimated speed as needed.

We are testing out a new and rather clean looking auto-invite style for TrioLive. Previously we were using the default style in TrioLive (the blue window)
You can download this style here if you wish to use it with your TrioLive install or your TrioLive Hosted Service.

Many iSalient users don’t realize that they have the option to add extra data into their survey link in order to have it included in the survey’s results. It’s easy if you’re using 1-2-All to send your invitations, because you can just use1-2-All’s own personalization tags like %PERS_NAME%, %PERS_33%, etc.
Let’s say you’ve installed iSalient on your web site at example.com. A typical survey link would look like:
http://example.com/isalient/index.php?survey_code=79b22778&login=1
You can add your data onto the end of this link using an ampersand (&). So, if you wanted to include the zip code of your invitee, you would add an ampersand, indicating that a value has been added, followed by the value itself: zip_code=60601. You final survey link for that invitee would look like:
http://example.com/isalient/index.php?survey_code=79b22778&login=1&zip_code=60601
Only basic alphanumeric characters should be included in the name of your value–no spaces should be used. In this example, we’ve used an underscore (_) instead of a space.
You can add on as many values as you’d like in this manner, simply by placing an ampersand before each value. For example:
http://example.com/isalient/index.php?survey_code=79b22778&login=1&zip_code=60601&name=Frank
When the survey is opened through this link, iSalient will automatically store the values “zip_code” and “name” along with all other survey data, such that you can view the data along with the invitee’s survey responses and export it for manipulation in statistical analysis software.

The Internet has become increasingly interactive and community oriented. Perhaps, you never thought of social networking as a way of promoting your affiliate marketing program. I know it isn’t the first thought that popped in my head. That was not until I came across newsletter that made mention of using facebook applications for affiliate marketing. Come to think of it, I think we’ve all seen instances of social networking sites being used for marketing. Who hasn’t seen music bands or Hollywood movies take advantage of social networking sites such as Myspace to promote their commercial product? That is because they act like major marketing tools and offer tons of traffic that can be targeted towards a niche market. The huge traffic generated by these sites is a boon to affiliate marketing and their popularity as a way for people to connect isn’t something that will diminish anytime soon. Before using a social networking site for affiliate marketing thoroughly familiarize yourself of the rules of the site before you begin marketing your ActiveCampaign products. Be very clear about what you are advertising. Also, be aware of the audience you are targeting through your social networking site. Approach social networking sites in much the same way you would if you were creating a separate affiliate page for your products. Build trust with visitors by presenting them with benefits for buying the product you are promoting.
At a recent Affiliate summit in Miami a speech was given on the relationship between affiliate marketing and social networking. You can view this video below:

After over a month of alpha and beta testing, the standard released version of 1-2-All now makes standard use of our new e-mail sending engine. The engine uses proprietary logic to maximize the abilities of your server setup in order to improve speed and efficiency, and to minimize send stalling.
Our beta testers achieved some pretty remarkable results: the average gains in sending speed hovered around 100%, with some users reporting speed increases of as much as 600%. In most cases, improved stability was also reported, so we’re expecting great results and recommending that all current 1-2-All users upgrade to the latest version.
In addition to updating the underlying sending framework, we’ve also added an option under Settings->Script Settings to make send-throttling much more intuitive, and to offer you more precise control over the way 1-2-All’s sending process interacts with your server.
Let’s say your server allows you to send 6,000 e-mails per hour. In order to ensure that 1-2-All never sends you over this limit, you’ll simply instruct it to try to send a maximum of 100 messages per minute. However, in some cases this limit will be higher than the server can comfortably send given the available resources, whether its due to other processes running on the server or simply due to a bottleneck somewhere in the system.

In this case, you would leave the maximum send rate at 100 per minute, but tweak 1-2-All’s pause setting to slow down the rate at which messages are processed and sent to the outgoing mail server. If you’re experiencing a lot of sending stalls, for example, you would want to decrease the number of messages processed between pauses, and increase the number of seconds that 1-2-All will pause before processing another chunk of messages.
