1-2-All Subscription Rules ( added in version 4.54.3 ) allow you to set up automatic actions when a user subscribes or unsubscribes to any of your mailing list.
This setting can be accessed from within the list under List -> Subscription Rules.
In the example below, we are setting up a rule to automatically remove subscribers from our “Prospects” list when they are added to the “Members” list.
Subscription Rules can also be used to establish groups of mailing lists that should be subscribed or unsubscribed from concurrently.

It has now been a number of weeks since we first released the 1-2-All Sending Engine beta and the response has been great. Overall we are finding increased sending speed (more than double the speed in many cases) and few problems.
The couple minor problems found have been worked out and we are now ready to release the first release candidate. If all goes well we should be rolling this into the general distribution in the near future as the default sending engine.
To use the release candidate sending engine:
- Upgrade to the latest version of 1-2-All
- Open your /12all/admin/engine.inc.php file
- Put the following code in a new line right above the line that has “?>”
$GLOBALS[”useBETAengine”]=1;
- Your 1-2-All installation is now using the beta sending engine.
Let us know if you have any comments!

Its a common practice of newbie affiliates to take their existing web site and dump their affiliate banners, text ads, and images. While more experienced affiliates will build sites entirely devoted to promoting their affiliate programs. How you choose to promote your affiliate program will significantly effect the interest of your site visitors. We’re going to go over some different types of sites for promoting your affiliate program:
1) Comparison Shopping Sites and Directories
You can use these to promote several affiliate programs and then organize them into directories
2) Content and Niche Sites
Write product reviews about your ActiveCampaign products. Your reviews should write themselves!
3) Personal Websites
At the dawn of affiliate marketing it was popular to use your own website in order to promote affiliate products. This isn’t very effective and it has since sunk to obsolescence.
4) Blogs and RSS Feeds
Seems the way the way to go with everything else so why not.
5) Email List Affiliates
Use your 1-2-All Email Marketing program to promote this and other fine ActiveCampaign products!
6) Pay Per Click Search Engines
Affiliates pay for search engine ranking in order to promote their products.
Its better to build sites around the product you are promoting. Providing a little extra care, attention, and nourishing for your affiliate products will give your affiliate program the chance to blossom.

With the release today of TrioLive 1.55.0, we have for the first time increased the required minimum version of MySQL from the old standard, 3.23.x. Those versions of MySQL are what many people first used for a database with their web software, and for quite some time, never upgraded from despite the changes and additions made by the developers of MySQL. But, for some time, MySQL 3.23 (and 4.0) have been deprecated by their developers in order to focus on later versions, and most webhosts have upgraded their databases to later versions as well.
The new minimum MySQL version we require with TrioLive is 4.1.x. This choice gave us quite a few new features to turn to when readying this new version of the software. For example, we have changed the structures of the majority of our tables from MyISAM to InnoDB.
InnoDB tables support row-level locking, which allows for faster table access when many people are accessing a table for read and write operations, as opposed to MyISAM’s locks which lock the entire table. InnoDB is also much more reliable than MyISAM, able to survive a crash without fear of data corruption. Many other users of MySQL have switched to InnoDB, including Livejournal, with great success. Thus far, we have experienced performance gains across the board with our usage of InnoDB — in some cases more than others — but so far no slowdowns or other performance hits. InnoDB can result in larger table sizes than MyISAM, relative to the original size of a table; in TrioLive’s case, this hasn’t proved to be much, and the performance gains should easily outweigh this tradeoff.
We have also begun using subqueries, which is an excellent feature of MySQL 4.1, that should help to further optimize query performance. We’re excited by the potential that this change has not only for TrioLive but for other products of ours as well.
Many other bug fixes were made for the 1.55.0 release of TrioLive, which you can view here.

In recent versions of 1-2-All an “export” option has been added to the templates page. Once you have created your html or text template and would like to share, distribute, or sell the template - simply click export.
Export will export your entire template (inlcuding any images) into a 1-2-All Template XML File. This file can then be easily imported into any other 1-2-All installation. Share, sell, or just use as a backup. The import process is as simple as the export. Once you click import the template will appear in your template list and the images will automatically be uploaded and properly linked to in your template file.
Let us know if you have any questions! We also have some professional templates available here.

Currently all of our products have a base requirement of PHP 4.3+ and MySQL 3.23+
You may have noticed recently that PHP.net declared that they will no longer be supporting PHP 4 as of December 31st 2007. Also there has been a widely publicized project called GoPHP5. The idea behind GoPHP5 is to get as many applications to back the PHP5 only development status.
While we do agree that it is time for hosts to make a final switch to PHP5 we will not stop supporting PHP 4.3+ anytime soon. We strive to ensure our product line works from PHP 4.3 to the latest version of PHP5. And we will ensure compatibility with PHP6 when it is closer to release.
Keeping that in mind we are currently testing increasing the MySQL version requirement to MySQL 4.1+ for TrioLive, SupportTrio, and SwiftTraction. We have found the vast majority of our client base to be utilizing MySQL 4.1 or above for some time now.
We won’t be rushing any of these changes out. If you should have any feedback during this time just let us know!

Today we deployed our new site design.
This is the first phase of changes to our site. We aimed to improve the flow and structure of the site to make your browsing experience a happy and easy experience. Another significant change is in regards to our support center where we changed how the “support center” was presented and how you contact support. With the changes today we are now able to continue to work on some upcoming site changes that should improve your overall experience with ActiveCampaign.
While we did significant client/usability research we always wish to know what you think. Let us know if you are having problems, dislike something, or have something good to say!
We also released a new version of 1-2-All recently that includes an option to use a new beta sending engine. Click here for details.
Should you have any questions, comments, or feedback just let us know!
