You should love to help others and gain joy out of troubleshooting and making users happy. Our customers expect prompt, informative, and friendly responses to their questions.
What is needed:
- The ability to communicate in a professional and easy to understand manner
- The ability to turn concerned or upset users into happy users
- The ability to remain calm, collective, and friendly even when dealing with difficult situations and/or frustrated users
- The ability to efficiently respond to a significant number of emails per day (once you are up to speed you should be handling around 75 emails a day)
- Knowledge and/or experience of web based software and PHP/MySQL
- Experience with FTP & SSH
- A passion for problem solving
Some things your day could consist of:
- Assisting users via email, live chat, and phone
- Responding to sales emails
- Debugging potential software issues
- Troubleshoot issues using FTP & SSH
- Working to resolve & fix software issues (along with working with other developers to find solutions)
- Helping users with email coding questions, email deliverability, etc...
- Writing and updating knowledge base articles
